rañj , rajyati, rajyata, PPP raktá v (q.v.) be coloured or red, be exited or agitated, be affected with a strong feeling, esp. be delighted with, fond of, be in love with or have pleasure in (L). Caus. rañjayati (rajayati), PPP rañjita colour, redden; brighten, illumine; rejoice, delight, please, satisfy.
