calati (calate) v PPP calita (q.v.) get into motion, stir, budge; tremble, quiver, totter; set out, start, depart, pass away; walk, march; spread, be diffused; be troubled or disappointed; swerve, deviate, fall off from (Ab). Caus. calayati or cālayati set in motion, shake, push, disturb, agitate; expel or turn off from (Ab).
ā , Caus. ācālayati set in motion, stir.
ud get off from, leave (Ab); also = prod set out, depart. samud start up or set out together.
pari Caus. move, stir, turn round.
pra get in motion, shake, tremble; come forth, rise, start up; swerve or deviate from (Ab); proceed, advance, depart; be perplexed or troubled. Caus. set in motion, shake, stir.
vi move to and fro, waver, totter, set out, start, fall off or down, depart, swerve or deviate from (Ab); be perplexed or disappointed. Caus. vicālayati set in motion, excite, turn from (Ab), shake, destroy. pravi get in motion, shake, tremble, swerve, deviate, leave from (Ab).
