Meanings

bhunákti bhuṅkté 2 v (bhuñjati, te), PPP bhukta (q.v.) enjoy (in older lang. w. I, later mostly w. A), esp. food (i.e. eat, feed on, ~ A), but also the earth, a country or town (i.e. rule), a woman (i.e. love carnally), etc; experience, endure, atone for (A) at the hands of (G); be of use to, serve (A). Caus. bhojayati (te) cause to enjoy or eat, feed (A of pers. & A or I of th.). Des bubhukṣate (ti) wish to eat, be hungry. bobhujīti 1 enjoy.
